Hi, my name is Brooke.

Now that you've seen my work, you should probably learn about me, your photographer too.

Photography isn't just a "job" to me, I view it as a hobby and passion that I am lucky enough to source income from. I knew since I was young that one day I would run a photography business on the side. Soon enough that day came and I took the plunge to start taking photography more seriously after loving the experience of getting to practice on friends and family with digital cameras and stuffing my iPhone storage to the max. I passed my photography course at Delta College that taught me how to properly and efficiently use the settings on my camera. In other words, I don't just shoot "auto", I know how to operate my camera to its fullest capacity. Slowly but surely, my little page I created for fun grew into a business as my skills began uncovering. Don't get me wrong though, the amount you can learn and continually develop in this industry is never ending.

Taking pictures and delivering galleries is far from being all that I do on a regular basis. During the week, I'm busy working my full time job as a Business Office Assistant at Meridian Public Schools. At my job, I assist the Business Manager with financial transactions that control how public schools operate from the funds coming both in and out. I graduated from Northwood University in 2020 with a Bachelor's in Accounting and am so happy to use my degree in a nonprofit such as the very school I graduated from and live close to. It's truly an amazing environment.

But most importantly, I am a mom of my sweet baby girl, Harper Grace who is 2 years old. I love being able to create memories with my little family. I have been with my now fiancé, Tom, for the past almost 10 years. We enjoy traveling around Michigan in the summer time and exploring all the scenic views. In our free time, you can find us continuously making small improvements to the home we bought, 2 years ago. My German Shepherd, Chance and *new* Golden Retriever, Maggie, are also crucial members of our family that we adore. 

A few other tid-bits about me: I'm a lover of chicken nachos, iced coffee, thrift store and garage sale shopping, Machine Gun Kelly's music, traveling to new places and reality TV shows like 90 Day Fiancé, Unexpected, and Love Is Blind.

If you know me, you probably know I'm SUPER shy! I've pretty much diagnosed myself with social anxiety HAHA! If you really know me though, you'd know that I'm not all that shy! BUT doing photography has actually really helped me open up more and become more bubbly with strangers and I love that!
